Banana Protein Brownies

Healthy banana protein brownies packed with 7.5 grams of protein per bar! The best part is, these gooey brownies are only 107 calories each. They're the perfect post-workout treat!

Equipment

  • 2 large mixing bowls
  • 9x9 baking pan

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 large bananas (270 grams)
  • 2 scoops unflavored whey protein powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F and spray a 9x9-inch square pan with non-stick cooking oil.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla extract, honey, and mashed banana.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, whey protein and flour.
  • Sift the dry mixture into the bowl with the wet ingredients, then gently fold them together until combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to your square pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350° F, or until a toothpick poked into the center of the brownies comes out with no wet batter (some moist crumbs are fine).
  • Allow the brownies to cool and slice them into 9 even bars.

Notes

Allow the brownies to cool for 10-15 minutes, before cutting them and serving.
The banana protein brownies will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
