  • 2-3 lbs cut chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Instructions

  • Remove your cut chicken wings from the package and pat them dry with a paper towel. This step is key to making crispy air fryer chicken wings.
  • Transfer the chicken wings to a large mixing bowl. Add cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Use tongs to mix the seasoning around in the bowl until each chicken wing is fully coated.
  • Place the chicken wings in a preheated air fryer set to 400° F. Cook for 10 minutes then flip (for oven style air fryers) or shake (for basket style air fryers).
  • After flipping, cook for an additional 8 minutes. Once the chicken wings have reached your desired level of crispiness, remove and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Enjoy these air fryer chicken wings with a side of your favorite dipping sauce. Both blue cheese and ranch pair well with this recipe.
  • Don't worry if the wings are touching each other in the air fryer. They will need to be flipped, which helps each side cook evenly.
