High Protein Breakfast Burrito

This high protein breakfast burrito is packed with flavor and loaded with protein! They're super easy to make and you can meal prep them for a quick breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 large tortilla
  • 28 grams fat free cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 9 tbsp egg whites
  • 2 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/5 cup plain Greek yogurt 1/4 serving
  • 1-2 tsp hot sauce or Buffalo sauce
  • sliced green onions to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375° F. Lay a sheet of aluminum foil on a pan and spray it with cooking spray.
  • Place two slices of turkey bacon on the foil and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While bacon is cooking, preheat a pan on medium heat. Spray with cooking spray and mix egg whites and whole egg. Scramble until eggs are fully cooked.
  • In a small bowl combine Greek yogurt and hot sauce, or Buffalo sauce. Stir thoroughly until the sauce is mixed together.
  • Place your tortilla down on a flat surface and spread sauce over the middle portion with a spoon. Add scrambled eggs, cheese, crushed turkey bacon, and sliced green onions. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

You can store these high protein breakfast burritos in the fridge for 4-5 days, or in the freezer for up to six months.
