This healthy apple crisp is the perfect fall recipe that won't leave you feeling guilty. While enjoying these freshly baked apples mixed with cinnamon and maple syrup, you won't even realize there's 30 grams of protein!

Ingredients

Apple Base

  • 1 sliced apple
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup

Crisp

  • 30 grams oats
  • 15 grams chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup

Topping

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (118 ml)
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F (177° C). Add the sliced apples, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to an oven-safe baking dish.
  • Make the crisp in a seperate bowl by combining oats, walnuts, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Remove apples from the oven and add the crisp, spreading it evenly over them.
  • Place the apple crisp back in the oven for 15 minutes. Finally, make the topping by combining Greek yogurt and protein powder.
  • Remove the apple crisp from the oven, add the topping, and enjoy.
