- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 scoop unflavored whey protein powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 9 tbsp egg whites
- 3 tbsp sweetener
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips
Add flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and sweetener in a large mixing bowl. Whisk thoroughly until there are no clumps.
Then add Greek yogurt, egg whites, and vanilla extract. Mix chocolate brownie batter until texture is smooth.
Pour batter into a 9x9 baking dish and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 350° for 18 minutes. Allow brownies to cool for 5-10 minutes before eating.
The brownie batter will be thin, which is why it's better to add the chocolate chips on top (before baking). You have the option to fold the chocolate chips into the batter, however they will float to the bottom. There's nothing wrong with this method, but the brownies will have a gooey base.
Don't worry about using the toothpick method with these brownies. The recipe does not contain raw eggs, so you don't have to worry about undercooking them. Cooking the brownies for too long will dry them out.
