Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Sandwich
This air fryer chicken sandwich is the best high protein meal! A crispy outside layer holds juicy and tender meat on the inside. You won't believe the whole thing is under 450 calories!

- 2 4-5 ounce pieces of sliced chicken breast
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs gluten free
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Fage 0%
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Toppings
- 2 low calorie buns
- 2 slices reduced fat cheese
- lettuce
- tomato
Spicy Mayo
- 2 tbsp light mayonnaise (30 grams)
- 2 tsp sriracha (10 grams)
Combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano on a plate. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
Place 2 slices of chicken breast in a large bowl (4-5 ounces each). Cover chicken with Greek yogurt, salt, and pepper.
Transfer chicken to breading plate. Press down each piece from the top, making sure to coat each side with the breading mixture.
Air fry chicken for 15-20 minutes at 400° F (thicker cuts will take more time). Make sure to flip halfway through.
Remove from air fryer when done and serve immediately. Add your favorite toppings and sauce. I used the spicy mayo for this recipe.
